Books on Leadership Principles and Methods

Let me start by saying this:  I dare you to read these and NOT change……………….even if you don’t implement a thing you will change.

These books and audio are a few recommendations as I have experience with most of them.  They made a difference in my life and I know, if you read or listen to them, there is just no way they don’t change you in some way.  I bought some these to give to my leadership team to absorb.  I never had anyone say it was a waste for thier time.  Some books I read and signed the inside cover, then gave to the next person and asked them to return it signed so I could pass it on to the next person.  Accountability……

If I could make one more point:  There is no way you can use everything in all these books.  You cannot change yourself overnight but you can take a different or new direction with your style.  Add One, then Two.  Read them again and then add another.  Highlight in them, Tab pages, go back and read what you earmarked.  Feed your self a daily dose of goodness.

  1. SEE YOU AT THE TOP  (or Bisquits, Fleas, and Pump Handles):  This is my All Time favorite and I strongly recommend you buy the Audio CD leadership principlesand listen during your drive time in Zig Ziglar’s own voice delivering this message.  A legacy that has touched audiences all over the world began in Dallas, Texas, in 1972 when Zig Ziglar recorded perhaps the definitive work of his career. Biscuits Fleas and Pump Handles is the compilation of observations, thoughts and research Zig had spent years preparing to present as the foundation of a philosophy born of hope and nurtured with integrity. In this 60 minute recording, Zig lays out a plan for living a balanced and fulfilling life, leadership principlesteaching us that we can have everything in life we want if we will just help enough other people get what they want. The applications outlined in this message have changed lives, built careers, and propelled individuals and institutions to unexpected heights. Used as the cornerstone for all training provided by Ziglar, this program is packed with answers to tough questions in turbulent times.  Just click here or on the Book Picture If your want more info and/or to buy it right now.

OK,  a few for now.  I am going to the book store so I can write down the others I have read that were meaningful to me during my career.  You can get audio books in most of these.  However, I used the books so I could highlight, tab, markup, and use in my meetings.  I considered it my “Duty” to grow the people in my charge.  To help them become better people, if I could.  Bring yours to the watering hole…..
