What we collect

• The photos you upload, and the coloring-page line art we generate from them.
• Your account details — name, email and profile picture, from Google sign-in. We never see your Google password.
• Order details — what you bought, and for printed books the shipping address you give at checkout.
• Your email address, if you ask for a set of free coloring sheets as one PDF. Nothing else — see below.

Email updates for the free coloring pages

On each free coloring page you can enter an email address to get that category's whole set as a single PDF. This is optional. Every sheet on those pages downloads individually without giving us anything, and it will stay that way.

If you do use it, we store two things: your email address, and which category page you signed up from — so we know whether it is worth drawing more dinosaurs or more rockets. We do not store your name, your IP address, or any tracking identifier, and there is no advertising pixel on those pages. The record sits in our own database at Turso, the same one described above.

What we would use it for is telling you when new free sheets go up. Being straight with you: we have not sent a single one of these emails, because there is no mailing tool connected to the site yet. Right now the address sits in the database and nothing goes out. When that changes, this paragraph changes with it, and the company we use to send the email will be named here before the first one is sent.

To be removed, email hello@popspages.com and say so — no reason needed, and we'll confirm when it's done. Once we are actually sending email there will be a one-click unsubscribe link in every one. We do not sell this list, rent it, or hand it to anyone else.

Where your photos actually go

We are a small service built on other companies' infrastructure. A photo you upload is handled by the following processors, and no others:

• Vercel (hosting and Blob storage, USA) — stores the photo file and the generated line art. Files are private and served only through short-lived signed links.
• Turso (database, USA) — stores information about your photos and orders. Never the image files themselves.
• fal.ai (USA) — receives the photo to generate the line art. This is the step that turns a photograph into a drawing.
• OpenAI(USA) — used as a fallback for the same step when fal.ai is unavailable. Under OpenAI's API terms, content sent through the API is not used to train their models.
• Stripe (payments) — receives your payment details directly. Card numbers never reach our servers.
• Printful (printing and shipping) — only for printed books, and only ever receives the generated line art plus your shipping address. Your original photographs are never sent to the printer.
• Resend (email) — receives your email address to send order confirmations.

We do not sell your photos, and we do not use them to train any model of our own.

Deletion — and its honest limits

You can delete a photo from your Uploads page, or delete a whole book. When you do, we remove the file from our storage and the record from our database. Deleting a book also deletes the line art generated for it.

What we cannotdo is reach into fal.ai or OpenAI and delete the copy they received while generating your pages. Those companies process it under their own retention policies and we have no deletion API to call on your behalf. Deleting from Pops Pages removes it from Pops Pages; it does not propagate to the AI provider. We would rather tell you that plainly than imply a guarantee we can't keep.

A photo used by a book you have already purchased cannot be deleted from that book, because the book is a delivered product. Contact us and we will handle it manually.

Children

Pops Pages is for adults to use — you must be 18 or over to create an account. The photos are of children, but the account, the uploading and the purchasing are yours. By uploading a photo of a child you confirm you are their parent or guardian, or have permission from one.

How long we keep things

Photos, books and line art stay until you delete them or ask us to close your account. Order records are kept longer, because we are required to retain records of sales for tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Most of it you can handle yourself from your Uploads and Books pages; for anything else, or to close your account entirely, email us at hello@popspages.com and we will respond within 30 days.
